Robbie Neilson laments Hearts foul not attributed to Celtic equal

Hearts manager Robbie Neilson was frustrated with the way his side conceded their equalizer against Celtic after claiming Toby Sibbick was fouled by Callum McGregor.

The Hoops won 4-1 despite an early opener to Ellis Simms, putting them on course to win the Premiership Title.

The second goal was also disputed, but footage showed the ball was just over the line before Craig Gordon grabbed it. Kyōgo on your mind.

On the equalizer, neilson said: “It’s a clean shot to be honest. I’ve reviewed it and I’m sure you’ll agree.

“These key decisions when you come here you have to make them. It was the disappointment with the referee. I thought it was pretty easy to make and he doesn’t do it well.

“The second for the goal is the right decision – borderline but fair.”

Neilson waited for referee Don Robertson at halftime but didn’t push his complaints.

“To be honest, it’s not worth it,” he said. “Don was the same at Easter Road so I’ll shut up. We have a big game coming up in a few weeks.”
