The Miami Hurricanes meet the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday in Week 10 of ACC college football action at Hard Rock Stadium.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will look to bounce back from a 26-17 loss to Virginia Tech in their final game. Jeff Sims threw for 1,274 yards, 11 touchdowns and 6 interceptions on 61.3% of passes while rushing for 380 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jahmyr Gibbs has 524 rushing yards to lead Georgia Tech while Dontae Smith and Jordan Mason each have over 200 rushing yards this season. Kyric McGowan leads the Yellow Jackets receiving with 422 receiving yards and 29 catches with 7 touchdowns while Malachi Carter and Gibbs each have over 350 receiving yards. Adonicas Sanders also has 293 receiving yards for Georgia Tech this season. In defense, Quez Jackson leads Georgia Tech with a total of 82 tackles while Charlie Thomas has a team-high with 3 sacks and a pair of interceptions.

The Miami Hurricanes will look to build on a 38-34 win over Pitt in their final game. Tyler Van Dyke threw for 1,488 yards, 12 touchdowns and 4 interceptions with 63.4% passing while Cam’Ron Harris has 409 rushing yards this year and Jaylan Knighton is also sitting for 299 rushing yards. Charleston Rambo leads Miami receivers with 51 catches for 650 yards while three other Hurricanes have over 300 receiving yards and four others have at least 100 receiving yards this season. In defense, Bubba Bolden leads Miami with 42 total tackles while Zach McCloud has a season-high 3.5 sacks.

Georgia Tech is 0-4 ATS in its last 4 total games and 1-5 ATS in its last 6 road games, while the top is 18- 8 in his last 26 games as an underdog. Miami are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite while the surplus is 4- 1 in their last 5 conference games.

I understand the argument that can be made here anyway, as Georgia Tech has been competitive for most of the season and Miami has had some huge back-to-back wins. However, I’m still a little hesitant to run to the window to support Miami even though Van Dyke seems to understand this hurricane offense. I think the Yellow Jackets are still competitive here, so give me Georgia Tech and the points in this one.
