Summer is officially here and to help educate residents on local activities and programs, Danville Mayor Renee Morgan plans to virtually meet with residents and discuss summer in Danville for her monthly Town Talks series. .

Held on the first Friday of each month via Zoom, Morgan will be joined by Danville’s Program Supervisor for Adults and Seniors, Leah Martinez and Parks, Recreation and the Arts Commission Chairman Randall Diamond, as well as representatives of the Save Mount Diablo conservation group and the “I Can Do That” Theater Company.

“With so many summer recreation opportunities here in Danville, community members are encouraged to join the discussion and learn about some of the upcoming programs,” city staff said in a statement. .

The July Town Talks will take place on Friday, July 2 at 9 a.m. and will be broadcast live via the Zoom video conferencing app. Residents can register for the program online here or view a recording of the program on Danville’s YouTube channel once it is completed.
