Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have separated

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s romance is over.

The duo, who were first linked in October 2021, ended their relationship this week, a source told PEOPLE.

“Part of the reason they broke up was because of their busy schedules,” an insider said. “They both travel all the time and it was tough.”

E ! News was first to report news of Kardashian, 41, and Davidson’s split.

Representatives for the two stars did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The pair were then spotted the following weekend in Palm Springs, holding hands and smiling, and continued to stay close in the weeks that followed, even kicking off the New Year with a short trip to the Bahamas.

Then, in February of this year, Davidson opened up about living his life in the spotlight and hanging out with his “girlfriend” Kardashian during a chat with Kay Adams, host of PEOPLE (The TV show!).
