FSU football coaches wereted no time with top offensive lineman Qae’shon Sapp on his official visit. Sapp announced a few weeks ago that he plans to announce his engagement on July 3.
He released a final list of four schools a few days ago, with the July 3 date still intact.
However, the official visit to Tallahassee made it impossible to wait that long before announcing his Noles engagement on Saturday afternoon.
Sapp announced the engagement on Instagram as he drove in the car with his mom and dad:

His mother moved in the car as he told IG live that he was home.

Sapp visited Florida on June 1 and Auburn on June 2 before attending FSU camp on June 5. Sapp returned to Auburn on June 7 for another unofficial visit before officially heading to Florida on June 11.
Sapp officially visited Cincinnati on June 18, before making FSU his last stop before the July 3 engagement date.
It’s no complete surprise that he picks the Noles over Georgia, Florida and Cincinnati. Sapp had several 247 Crystal Ball predictions for the Christmas.
However, I think the decision to make the announcement on Saturday may have been. It’s also huge because Sapp is a teammate with FSU target linebacker Jaron Willis, who is also on an official visit to Tallahassee.
Could Sapp’s engagement influence his decision to move from Georgia Tech to Noles? Sapp checks in at 6’5 ″ and 320 pounds with 27 offers. He is ranked No. 327 overall and No. 32 for offensive tackle.
Qae’shon Sapp is Mike Norvell’s # 11 engagement in the 2022 recruiting cycle. The class climbs to 5th on the National Rankings with the latest addition. The Noles can add at least one more commitment before the end of the weekend as there are still several players on campus.
